Stole money out of my account Ripoff

I was contacted by a person that said they where with Bank of America and that they were calling to thank me for banking and having my checking account with them. They told me that for being a good customer that they were giving me American Express vouchers for airline tickets that were valued at $400.00. And that I was going to recieve other free travel gifts. They asked me to verify my checking account number. I asked them since they were the bank you should already have it. I told them NO! I thought it sounded funny at the start. I asked her are you sure you are with Bank of America and she said well no, that they were contracted by BOA for this promotion. I told her I was not intrested.
Well like everyone else I got money taken from me $149.00. My wife tryed calling the number and she only got a busy signal. So she marched down to the bank and reported this illegal check they printed. I could not understand why my bank cashed it in the first place. So the bank shut down my account and had to transfer and open a new one. What gets my goat is that I work overseas in the middle east and the only way I can get money is to cash a check on the military insullation. So now these people have put me in the position to where I can not get to my account because they forced me to close it. At my bank there only response was "We get alot of complaints about them". So to end this I did get my money bank but with alot of heart ach. BOA said they would be calling the FBI and report it. We'll see how that goes.
