I purchased 2 round trip air tickets from Cheaptickets last November. Sometime in April I recieved an itinery change in our flights. I called and cancelled the flights, and was told that I would receive a full refund.
I have called customer service over 20 times since June, and have been repeatedly lied to about my refund ($670.00). I had a hard time understanding the customer service reps, and was finally told they were in the Phillipines.
I finally asked for their supervisors, and/or the Refund Dept., and was always left on hold for upwards to an hour. Once they realized that I was looking for a refund, they would put me on hold. Some reps told me that they would call me back, and was told the next time I called that they are not allowed to call customers.
My last call was in Oct., and I was told that I needed to wait "2 to 3 billing cycles". What does that mean? She informed me 60 to 90 more days. I am outraged at this company. Waht can we do to stop these criminals? I have the owners name and phone number and wonder if I should call him? Please advise..
