Sept we were supposed to depart from Port Canaveral on a 4 night bahama cruise on Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. It was our honeymoon. Hurricane Jeanne closed down the airports in Florida as we were leaving. There was absolutely NO way into Florida before the cruise departed. We purchased the insurance. Royal Caribbean will NOT refund us our money. They will ONLY give us a cruise credit for 1 year. No extensions. They do not care, it is company policy (they say). We cannot go within the year due to work schedules, financial reasons etc. They do not want to hear it and will not help us. Everyone else refunded our money with NO hassle. Royal Caribbean says, we should have made a way to get to Florida, the ship sailed.
