Florida Tourist Bureau, Florida Enterprises
Ripoff, scam, fake company, does not exist, bogus package deal to orlando, cocoa beach & bahamas

Traveling & Tourism

Around October a fax came through at my office (I work at a law firm in Houston, Texas) offering a package trip to Orlando, Cocoa Beach, and the Bahamas for $199 per person. I called the number provided, spoke to an individual named John and purchased two packages for a total of $452 which was immediately charged to my credit card. I was told that I had 2 years to use the trip vouchers. Several weeks later, I received the travel package in the mail with the travel vouchers for the 3 trips.

For the past month, I have been trying to contact Florida Tourist Bureau and have not received any response from them. I left several messages and none of my calls have been returned. After finding the other reports on this company on usacomplaints.com today, I realize that I too have indeed been ripped-off. I have not yet spoken to the credit card company, but assume that since the charge was made 2 years ago, they won't be able to do anything about it.
