Ripoff Getting out of your contract within your cooling off period

I purchase timeshare at Blue Beard Club, St. Thomas owned by Fairfield Resort, later that evening my husband & I reviewed the contract in detailed and found out what we had purchased & what was stipulated in the contract was entirley different, we made several calls to BBC/Fairfield resorts to cancel our contract, left several messages but no one acknowledge any of our calls, mind you this was only a few hours after signing the said contract. We retunred to our home in NJ and again made several more attempts by calling BBC/Fairfield to cancel our contract and again no response, I follow up with emails, letters - finally I received a call from Ken Crocker there Project Director informing me that there was nothing he can do to void my contract becasue I'm way past my "cooling off" period.

I have retained an attorney, this has been going on for 3 years plus all my frustration with FF and all these additional charges incurred to me.

I only received a call from some at the FF office in Margate yesterday (4-19-05) informaing me that they are looking into my situation, I faxed over documents of proof showing my attempts to cancel my contract. I am still waiting on a response.
