Ripoff and a complete scam Florida

My boyfriend checking account has been debited $19.95 per month from "Capital T-Aid" for about 4 months now. It just said it was a phone order listed under my name not his. So he ASSumed that this transaction, which had my name on it, that I must have ordered something and he never questioned it. He questioned it now.

I looked at it and it said if any billing questions, please call 888-824-7675, which of course I did. It is only a recording. No human contact at all. Then I found this web site and someone said, once you call that number, you have to hit the # sign twice and you will get someone on the phone.

It did work. I told them I have no idea what these debits are. They had me listen to a "recorded message" that someone had with my boyfriend on how this all started. It was him. I guess someone called in NOV. 04 asking for me. I was not home, so they began telling him if he would be interested in a discounted travel program or something. They said they would send some trial offer in the mail and just return if you decide you do not want it He did give his account number over the phone to these people. (WHY?)

They never told him they were going to charge anything at all. We never received anything in the mail, so his account was automatically charged every month. He had to close the account and reopen another. He lost about $120.00. Bank will not investigate because he gave account info over the phone. This scam company debits $59.95 first month and then $19.95 EVERY month. Be careful.
