Inhuman treatment at Dulles airport. - compensation for poor treatment

My husband traveled on Flight 1133Y on 12/9 coming from Cancun, Mexico. The plane left an hour late. When we arrive at Dulles Airport in Washington we asked the employee what should we do and is there a flight out for Bradley Airport (we were suppose leave at 10:15) He said to check in the little office on the other side of the luggage bend. He told us to go back and talk with the same employee. He told us to go up stairs and see the person at the check in counter. She was so rude to everyone that was waiting for her she left and went in the back room and said she would be back. Well she never returned until she came out with her coat and left. The same employee that was down stairs came up and said there were no other flight leaving out tonight at this time it is 11:45 P.M. We were treated like animals. We were ignored when I told him about my luggage being destroyed on the bottom, he said that he could not do anything about that. At this time we are tired, hungry and frustrated because it was 11:45 p. M and no one seemed to have an answer. Our Confirmation number was B4PLCE
