Stolen gps

Luggage was inspected in Elmira n. Y and when I got my luggage my GPS was missing. Allegiant air had a good flight but handling luggage there must be a loophole for dishonest employees.
I called the right # to report it 6 times with no, not one response, that adds up to poor customer service.
The stolen item was a "Magellan gps
