WiFi at the Detroit Airport

I just (5/21) purchased Boingo WiFI for 8 USD. The performance is terrible; feels like dialup. We pages take sometimes minutes to load. I should have been weary when even their home page took almost a minute to load. This is plainly ridicolous; I should have surfed on my Blackberry; even that's faster!
