Homeaway do renters use our money to finance themselves?

In the last 4 months my reservations have been cancelled 2 weeks prior to my trip. I am thinking that it is a great way for people to use my money for free financing. I plan ahead of time so i booked two months before my trips, paid almost half when booking, then in full a month prior and two weeks later i get cancelled, twice!!! What does this mean? That the person who offers the apartment uses my money for free during some time, depending on how ahead of time i plan!!!

Totally unacceptable and it has happened twice. I will never use this site again!!!
