We recently made a hotel reservation for the RAMADA INN near the maingate of Disney in Orlando.

Upon check-in, this hotel started out bad & just went downhill from there. When we left to go get dinner, we immediately called Orbitz (we'd only been checked in about an hour). We were on HOLD for almost ONE HOUR before being connected to a Customer Service Rep. After explaining the situation, he called the hotel & we were on hold AGAIN - this time for almost 15 minutes, only to have the rep come back & tell us the hotel didn't answer the phone - so then what the heck was the guy doing for FIFTEEN minutes?

We asked him to call again... After another 10 minutes, he came back & said that as it was 2 hours since we had checked in, they couldn't do anything. We told him that ONE hour of that time was ON HOLD WITH YOU (Orbitz). He called back & they agreed that if we checked out b/4 12 the next day, that they would refund the 2nd nite.

The next morning we checked out at 8am & were told that WE had to CALL Orbitz BACK AGAIN & have THEM call the hotel to obtain some sort of "authorization #"... AGAIN, ANOTHER 40 minute hold to reach a Customer Service Rep...

We will NEVER use this service again... Expedia you continue to rock & it was NOT worth saving the couple of dollars to use Orbitz...
