Rude - Bus

Got left by driver in New Jersey this morning but fortunately another bus got us to New York. The driver didn't know daylight savings time started and was confused and left earlier than he announced pulling in. Why would he leave knowing he made the mistake? Did he count the passengers to know at least two were missing? Also experienced a really rude employee loading. I'm a little deaf and told me she made an announcement which I couldn't understand. Shouldn't she know everyone doesn't hear well. Oh well...
