Ripoff charged reservation fee

I rented a trailer and bought a hitch to be installed on my car. When I reserved the trailer the representative at the 1800 number told I must pay a reservation fee of 50.00 which I did at that very moment.

When I finally picked up the trailer (very old and bad condition) they did not deducted the 50.00 from the final price, when I asked why they said it wasn't showing on the system. When I called UHAUL of VanNuys who was handling my reservations they told me the 50.00 was paid for the hitch rather than paid for the trailer, which by the way I was never told and it wasn't deducted from the hitch final price, which was 3 times more than advised when I made the reservation for the first time.

I have never received my 50.00 back and representatives at UHAUL of VanNuys were very rude to me. I finally disputed the charge with my bank but it seems UHAUL is giving a hard time regarding those 50.00 dollars. When I talked to the manager at the UHAUL location where I picked up the trailer they said he didn't know UHAUL 1-800 # charges a reservation. Is really dark and ugly this people charging reservations that at the end is not deducted from the final price. That's why I advised DO NOT USE UHAUL or don't pay the reservation fee... Is just a RIPOFF!!!
