AT&T Long Distance
Scam and fraud!

Telecommunications

On Feb 16 a sales consultant contracted-out by AT&T was going door-to-door in my own community. The reps title was Robert Collins and his Sales Person ID# was SCA7VN9W. He showed me a lot of paperwork and educated me he might considerably decrease just how much I spend every month for my long-distance company. He showed me charts and spreadsheets from his laptop. He'd an AT&T id logo and he'd a consultant from AT&T contact my home while he was below to verify my fresh long-distance program. The consultant advised me that since I had been likely to obtain the Multiple Option Bundle Pricing the price of the brand new strategy ($26.99) might just be about $2.00. Upon getting my AT&t-bill on March 13 I realized that I had been billed the prorated edition of the $26.99 strategy which following weeks my long-distance cost will be the complete $26.99. There never was any savings demonstrated. I named AT&Tis payment division and also the repetition there mentioned that I had been right, there is no advantage towards the new strategy that I'd been fooled into becoming a member of. I offered the info concerning the meticulous doorway-to-door sales person towards the payment division plus they mentioned the problem could be managed internally. I've to confess I had been please using the integrity of the billing office. They transformed my strategy back again to what it had been and returned my prorated part of the statement. Our criticism is the fact that AT&T backed this shady sales person and had not a problem with when he closed me-up. AT&T just had a problem after I unearthed that I'd been conned. This can not be exactly how we permit big-business to use.
