LA Fitness does not honor agreements. We terminated our membership with this club in September with the understanding, in writing, that no further withdrawls would be made on our account.in November LA Fitness withdrew two membership fees. Upon numerous phone calls we were told this matter would be corrected. Now the manager indicates they have no documentation of our termination and no fees that they can show we paid the processing fees to terminate. We have our cancelled checks and documentation which they are requiring that we provide in person. This company is playing games and making it difficult for members who belonged to the club since it was first opened. I would not recommend joining LA Fitness! A membership at is much safer as they do not play these power struggle games to keep you locked into a membership you do not want.

Sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company. Plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome.
