I have the manager of this store Robert lying to me on rcording with regard to the year and serial# of a gun worth half of representation

I have recorded proof this man is a lyar. I live in Hawaii and won a auction for a gun for $399. I called the shop and said can I upgrade to a different gun, Robert said no problem. I told him I was looking for something in 30-06 that was classic and would be a good investment. He told me he had a pre 1964 Winchester model 70 in great condition for $1000. I said I would get back to him. After consulting someone more knowlegable than I was instructed that the pre 64 has a claw extractor vs a push feed system. The older style is far more relable and desired by collectors. I called the shop back and asked the serial#. I was told in the 64,000s. This made it a 1947 rifle worth from 9-1200$. I went forward with the transaction and when I received the gun I was shocked to find out the serial # was in the 864000s. The least desireable year a bad deal worth 1/2 and didn't have much faith in Robert caring. I phoned and recorded him and spoke of the fact that I was told it was a pre 64 many times. Robert never denied that he represented a pre 64 he first said he'd check the other ones he had and check with the gunsmith about the serial number and call me back. No call. Three later conversations he said he would call me back never a call. Finally I called and He said "that's too bad you can't have your money back and you can't do anything as it is a civil matter and you live in Hawaii". This shop knows it's not worth it to travel for 500$ to Bullhead City Az. I called the police but they explained he could just say it was a mistake, so no shot with police. I called ATF they said civil matter. I am frustrated that will people will lie or do anything to make a sale. These are usually poor salesman that won't ever amout to much. I've been in sales 30 Yrs. I have no enemies it's always win win. It's not about the money it's the principle.in the last five years I've sold more than he will in his lifetime like I said win win!
