Dishonest ripoffs and false promises

On February 19th of 2003 I had ordered a paintball gun for my son over the Internet. Was emailed that it would ship within 7 to 10 working days along with a receipt order #. My charge card was charged immediately in the amount of $152.99.

By March 15th and still no gun I emailed to find out where my order was after my son had repeatedly tried to call the phone number on the web sight to check on it. I was emailed back by Mandy Phillips on March 17th that the order was back ordered and what would I liked to do. On March 25th I then emailed her back and asked her to cancel the order and credit my account immediately since I had been paying interest on this money since February and had no merchandise.

Received a email from Miss Phillips on March 26th acknowledging cancelation of my order and that she would be giving a credit slip to the credit department right away for my refund. My next credit card bill comes and NO CREDIT was given so I emailed them again asking why. They then emailed me back this time the email came from Power Sports, Inc. On April 22nd they send they were having trouble with their credits with their credit card company and would get me a money order out right away and said they were sorry.

This is May 31st and I have yet to see anything from them and I have emailed them 2 more times and have heard nothing back from them. My son who is 14 and works hard for his money has been ripped off and I am paying interest on money that should never have been charged to my account without the product being shipped. And they will not answer their phone it either rings and rings or you get an answering machine saying to leave your name and they will get back to you which they never do. Total Rip off.
