Sent check for 10 thousand and said to give 2 thousand to shipper check was bad california

Kevin brown said he would pay 8 thousand for the horse we had for sale, and that we were to pay his personal shipper 2 thousand when we got the check after we deposited his check in our bank, but of course i wasnt paying anyone anything until the check cleared which it did not, ultimately i never heard from him again, he had bad english and there were many mispelled words, also he never provided a phone number, i mean who buys a horse without talking to the owner, i was skeptical from the word go but i let him send the check anyway just to see if he was full of s#*& and he was!!!
