These guys are slick. They advertised the Trikke 8 on television to get some validity and then lead you to call in or place and internet order. The order takes up to 2-3months and then the price is more than what was advertised. It's clearly deceptive advertising. They advertise a low price and then overcharge you. I tried to straighten it out with them first, but they lead me to believe they would refund my card, but they don't. I tried disputing it with my Discovercard but they won't do anything either (I will cancel that soon due to their incompetance!) Overall, the Trikke 8 scooter is awesome and made by an awesome company (Trikke Tech) but the retailer Tri Star stinks! I'm going to email every company that Tri Tech markets products for and let them know that Tri Tech is ripping off consumers and that it might even be a turn off towards the products. It's not a good idea for a company to be represented by a bunch of con artists! We need Michael Moore to do a documentary on this sad company.
