Jag Electric, JHACS Electric ripoff, SCAM, HIDDEN CHARGES, DID NOT MAKE REPAIRS, Great Neck

JAG Electric license #4195-E (aka JHACS Electric) charges an appearance fee of 95.00, which is not mentioned on the phone when asked for a price quote. They mention that the charges are 90.00 per hour. WE called for a circuit breaker repair and Tony C. (the electrician) could not find anything wrong there and started going through the entire house searching for a line break in the outlets. I found the previous complaint online within the hour and advised my husband to send him away with the 90.00 for the hour.

He proceeded to call his boss who got my husband on the phone and told him that there was a problem. My husband advised that Jag was the one who had the problem and said we would only give a check for 90.00. Tony C proceeded to present a bill for 201.00!!! Nothing had been fixed! Tony left and I stopped payment on my check. I am also in the process of filing a complaint with the licensing department in Nassau and Suffolk already has an open complaint on this company.

THe other phone #'s they use are 516-773-8000,800-480-0887 and they are licensed at 61 Scholar lane in commack, but have another listing at 611 Middle Neck Road in Great Neck. They are NOT affiliated with the Long Island Electrical union, local 25 and their license #4195-E expires in January.
