Insulting manager

I went to the Waterford, CT Walmart to make some purchases. One item was a watch band price stickered at $8 yet it rang as $9. I complained and the floor supervisor overrode the $9 and enter it as $8 I told her that was not right, that it should now be free per Walmart policy and CT law.
She said that only applied to food items. I asked for the manager who told me the same thing as the sign said any
"consumer commodity" meant food. I told them no, that I as a consumer and the watch band was a commodity.
They both laughed and the manager used a hand gesture to indicate eating while saying "consume" as if to tell me how stupid I was.
Obviously English was not the first language of either of these people. I realise that you hire minorities but didn't realize you hired the stupid and put then in charge.
I left all my purchases and drove less than 2 miles to Target where I will continue to shop unless I receive an apology, a coupon for $8, and a promise that Walmart will educate those people both regarding policy and customer service.
