Agency is a scam. Lied to get a $400 deposit & cashed check without finding me a nanny!

This agency is a complete scam. We made an appointment to meet with Marci and some potential nannies. When we got there, they didn't have any interviews set up but Marci told us that if we left a $400 check deposit than we wouldn't have to come back to their office and they would send the candidates to our house for interviews.

We were hesitant about leaving them a check but Marci promised over and over again that the check would not be cashed until they found us a nanny. It sounded like a great deal, until they cashed the check the next day and claimed they never promised to hold it. My husband and I told Marci that we did not want to do business with an agency that lied to us and we wanted our money back but they refused. All of this happened in just a matter of days.

You cannot trust this agency. We thought about taking them to court to get our money back but we thought it is better justice to let the public know how dishonest this agency is. If this report can save even one family from getting ripped off by this agency, it is worth it.

As new parents you put your trust in this agency to help you find a nanny to take care of the most important thing in the world, your child and the first thing they do is break that trust and lie to you. No one at this agency can be trusted. This includes Marci, the accounting girl Sarah and even the owner Melody.

We even offered to let them keep half of the money for the 30 minutes we spent there but they refused. They don't care about their customers, only about money. This is not an agency you want to use to find you a nanny. Please spare yourself the headache. Use another agency. Anything is better than using Desperate Housewife Services.
