Ripoff

We followed the instructions, sent in our $50 deposit and received a notice that our first and second choices were not available in Baltimore. We then requested a Marriott in Newport, RI. The confirmation came back saying we were confirmed at a "hotel" in Newport. I called to confirm that it was a Marriott and was told that it could be any Marriott property. I then asked if it would be in Newport or the surrounding area. The represenative stalled, but I pressed her and she said she would check with reservations. It turns out that they were going to put us in a hotel 22.3 miles outside of Newport. I beleive they make their money by investing all the deposits they get and then stall, stall, stall while they earn interest on your money. They have ours for about 4 months and we have not gotten our deposit back yet.
