Late Fee When Website Was Down. - Kohls

I recently received my first late fee on my Kohls Charge card on an account I was unable to pay on, What Kind of Company can you not pay your balance on, in store via debit card? Kohls. That was my second attempt to pay on my balance, After trying to pay it online multiply days in a row, but there website was down. I email Kohls, to ask them if I would be charge a late fee because there website was down, and never heard anything back. I called customer Rep and got the run around and half the late fee removed, I assume this late fee will be reflected on my credit? Im pissed!
