AT&T Wireless does not care a whit about their customers! They lie when they keep telling their customers that they "care."

I had been with them for years and years when I moved my residence one mile away, and suddenly I have no service whatsoever, even though my balcony overlook their cellular tower. I have spoken to at least 25 people; their local store clerks, their customer service, customer resolution department, etc.

Each time I tell them that I have no service, suddenly they do not care. They say "We do not guarantee service at all." Yet they are holding me to a "verbal" contract with them for 2 years. They insist that all their legal mumbo-jumbo is in this fine print "Service Agreement."

They want to hold me to $700 in contract termination fees if I cancel. I tried to sue them in Small Claims, but their local store will not accept service. So when AT&T refers you to their legal department, they say you must go through your Attorney General's office.

The Attorney General's consumer complaint process is a joke, and they will can never stand up to AT&T.

All you can do is use the power of word of mouth against them. Once, when I told a customer rep that I was going to spread the word about their service, they promptly transfered me to their legal department who derisively threatened me that they would sue me for slander and libel if I told anyone about my experience with them!
