Fraudulent roaming charges for calls I never made Nationwide

I had Sprint PCS service approximately for four years. My wife and I decided to take her number from AT&T, and ad it to my Sprint account as a second line in April.

Shortly after, Sprint started turning our service off, sometimes almost every other day, and for the same reason every time. They charge us for long distance and international roaming calls we never made. We get bills as we were making phone calls from the Dominican Republic to the USA.
Note: We have never been to the Dominican Republic!

Our phones are set for Sprint only and NO roaming option. I have taken both of our phones to the Sprint store twice, and let them set them where they wouldn't roam, but that didn't help either.

I spent countless hours on the phone with Sprint, but they never solved the problem. They promised me many times to call me back. They never did, not once.

Some of their agents are extremely rude, including hanging up. I could never talk to the same person twice, they wouldn't give me a way to get in touch again. They kept on sending me around in circles without solving anything.

The last 6 days they turned my phone service off 4 times, trying to hit me with roaming charges ranging from $265 up to $430, just a day or two after I paid my bill in full. This has been going on since several months now, and I decided not to put up with the situation anymore, but to change cell provider.

Now Sprint is telling me that if I leave, they will charge me an early termination fee of $300 for the two phones I have with them, plus they told me today, 09-24-04 that I have to pay them over $300 for roaming charges we never made.

I think this is highly unethical since they keep on turning my phone off and charge us fraudulently for roaming we never made. They are not living up to their obligation of providing a reliable, uninterrupted service what they promised us when we signed up with them. That is what I am paying for.

I gave Sprint plenty of time to rectify the situation, but they never did, in fact it got worse. I have the impression, there is nobody responsible for anything at Sprint PCS. I think canceling Sprint PCS was well justified of my part, and I shouldn't be penalized for it.

I have excellent credit, always pay my bills on time, but I don't like to get ripped-off. I will fight this whatever it takes.
