Sprint Aka Nextel Sprint ripped me off!

Sprint ripped me off. I always have my phone set to sprint only. That way if I am in area that I roaming I have to physically set my phone to automatic to be able to make phone calls to avoid unexpected expenses. My husbands phone is setup the exact same way. We went on vacation and we pleasantly surprised when had service through most of northern Montana and in the glacier park area. Our phones didn't display roaming, and couln't have because the were on sprint only. We were another couple that also has sprint. They also made many phone calls. When I got my bill they charged me $80 in roaming calls for about 15 minutes worth of calls. What a crock.

So I called them. They wouldn't believe me. I talked to a manager, he wouldn't believe me. He told me he'd take off half the charges if I upgraded my plan and signed another two year contract. I don't even use the minutes we have. Why would I pay more, and wind up paying much over the two years. I told him no. I asked to cancel. He told me it would cost me an additional $200 per line, I have 2. So are stuck.

I am canceling in March when my plan ends. I just hope that they don't secertly extended my contact as I hear they are famous for doing.
