Kohl's credit department sucks

I will start by saying that as a store kohl's is wonderfull but their back of house is horribly bad. I have two episodes with the credit department. First I returned something slightly after the due date of my credit card which prompted a late payment fee. I didn't realize this until that late payment fee was late by 30 days. When I called & tried 2 explain that I had returned and i would like the late payment & damage to my credit fixed the guy said he didn't care the payment was late & he wasn't going to fix it. On top of this they added another late fee on my late fee. Finally I just paid it seeing that they wouldn't do anythng and stopped shopping there for a few years. I started again thinking I just got a jerk & gave them another try.

I spend a good amount of money in there and have always been on time with payments. I have lost my job a months ago & am a month behind. They call 15 times a day if I don't answer & everyday if I do. I recently returned somes stuff to reduce my bill by 1/3 & made a payment of $47-which is $11 short of what I owe them for this months payment. The calls continue & they said they will continue till I pay the $11. Seriously??? I just reduced my bill by $100 & gave them $47, you can't give me a break & take that as payment for the month. I am trying and hoping I will have a job and be able to pay the next payment & marchs bill. They are rediculous. For all they do to get customers they really destroy all that work with their credit department. They are wasting the $11 on the persons salary calling after I have explained the circumstances and they add to the bad feelings towards the store with every call. When I get a job & need new clothes I will rethink where I buy. JCpenny has been wonderful to me. I will probably think of them first.
