Job Offer Rescinded Three Days Before Start Date

They made me a job offer at their call center in Salt Lake City, UT. I put in my two weeks notice at my job and waited for over a month before my start date because AMEX kept pushing the start date back.

Then three days before my start date they decide to rescind my job offer because of a no trespassing ticket I got in 2003 for sneaking on the college dorms after hours to see my girlfriend...

That's fine if they don't want to offer me the job because I have a scrupulous little misdemeanor on my record... Whatever. But don't put me on for over a month and half and wait to tell me three days before my start date!!! I'm totally screwed now thanks to you Amex... I seriously don't know what I am going to do...
