Jennifer Rogers Poor business practice, fraud, neglect

I sent an e-mail along with my application on 7-5 and received an e-mail saying my application was approved. I responded that I was interested in Gracie and reqested info on how to proceed. No response. Sent one other e-mal saying I was concerned. No response.

I went to Petsmart in Hiram and met Gracie and spoke to representatives who told me to call Jennifer and let her know I was interested in Gracie and she would let me know how to get her. The poor dog badly needed a bath and was covered in fleas. There was a large box on the table to collect donations which I did not do. As soon as I returned home I called the number on the website and left voice-mail. After a few days, I called again. No response. Eventually, on my fourth call I said "you win, I quit. I really wanted Gracie but I will find a pet elsewhere. I think it is fraudulent to accept applications and to request donations when you have no interest in finding the animals a home. I won't call again."

I called Petsmart in Hiram and spoke with a manager, asking if they had any complaints with the rescue group. She said they had a good reputation but Petsmart had nothing to do with the adoption process, only allowing them the space to show the animals. She said she would call the rescue group and would leave my name, Gracie's name, and my number. She said she would call me if she heard from Jennifer. I wished her good luck with that. It's been several days. I have little hope of ever hearing from Petsmart because Jennifer won't call her or from Jennifer either.

I've had Gracie's picture on my phone for weeks. Her entry is still showing as available on the website. She is being neglected, she is not being adopted and Jennifer is accepting donations fraudulently. It's not fair.
