I would like to publicly express my gratification to Windrock and owners Colin and Kimberly Fritzler Windrock is a greyhound rescue place in the Grand Junction area of Colorado. My husband and I lost our greyhound companion of 14 years and contacted Windrock about acquiring an ex-racer. Kim Fritzler interviewed us and showed us the available dogs. My heart melted when I saw Gracie, a little female that had a sad history. She had been turned down by other adoption agencies as she had required expensive surgery. Colin and Kim accepted her and paid to have the medical treatment done and she blossomed under their care. We ended up adopting Gracie and it warms my heart to know that there are people that will go the extra mile to save animals in desperate need of help.

We have had Gracie for over a year now and the Fritzlers keep in touch with us to make sure all is well. We are considering adopting a greyhound in the near future and would like to encourage others to adopt racing greyhounds. They are wonderful pets and our Gracie came with the wonderful friendship and support of the Fritzlers at no extra charge!
