I was absolutely applauded that BloomsToday would take an order from me on Sunday, 2/05, for a delivery on 2/06, at 10:00 A.M. PST for a Funeral Service that was held today at 11:00 A.M. PST, and then call at 11:03 A.M. PST to tell me that they couldn't fill the order. Naturally, I was not home at 11:03 so a message was left on our answering service. It was very important to have flowers at this service, therefore, to not be given enough notice to go to a local florist is not only poor customer service but it is disrespectful to the person who passed away.

I put a call to BoomsToday to have a supervisor call me, and received a call back from Angela. I do not know if she is part of this "family owned" business or an employee, regardless she was very snippy, rude and actually lied to me saying she tried to call me to tell me that the order could not be filled before 10:00 A.M., the delivery time. She said "I just didn't leave a message the first time I called because it is our policy to actually talk to the customer." Now this is where the lie comes in... We did not leave home until 10:10 A.M. PST, therefore, even if she did try to call before the 11:03 A.M. Message was

Left, it was still after the delivery time promised.

This transaction has not only cost Blooms Today any future business I would have had but we will make sure all our family, friends and neighbors know how customers are treated by Blooms Today's customer service representative. Even if Angela is one of the "family" in this business, she shouldn't be in the position to talk to the customers. Her attitude right from the start was one of "that is how it was so what do you want?".

Bottom line is if you want to make sure your flowers are delivered... Do Not Use BloomsToday. I wish I had checked this out online before I put my trust in them to deliver to flowers for a very important event.
