Don't Buy from Blooms Today

The Friday before Mothers' Day, I placed an online order with Blooms Today to send a floral arrangement to my mother. I'm unable to see her on Mothers' Day, as she lives across the country, so it's very important to me to send flowers every year. I opted for either a Saturday or Sunday delivery. Saturday and Sunday go by - no flowers. Monday - no flowers - and no call or email, either. I called their 800 number, and spoke to someone who said that they can either deliver them or refund me. "Sorry - the florist decided to just simply reject the order. We can either deliver them now, or refund your order." What?!
Why didn't anyone let me know so that I could make alternate arrangements?! NO CONCESSIONS for not delivering or letting me know - no delivery fee refund with still delivering, and no upgrade. No manager with whom I could speak. I opted for the refund. I'll order from someone else. I wonder how many other disappointed mothers there were because of Blooms Today!!!
