Kohls unfair fees and bad attitude

I normally make my Kohls payment through my own bank with online payments. This month I made a payment on Kohls website on July 3rd. On July 16th I receive a phone call that my payment was returned from my bank with an "incorrect bank account number". When I went online and checked the account all numbers were correct, but only the last 4 numbers are visible. I ask them to check the full number and was told that was not available due to Security Reasons. How am I suppose to know where the error is if you can't verify the numbers. I was rudely informed by an employee that they would have to mail me a letter after they verified the NUMBER. That is insane. Then they charged me a $25 check fee! The check was not returned (like insufficient funds) it had the wrong account number. I have always paid kohls with the same account and account number. Kohls doesn't care if you keep shopping there or not. Since this has happened I have read dozens of complaints about this very problem. Kohls will lose an account over a $25 fee that should never have been charged, because I am paying mine off and WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN AND TELL ALL MY FRIENDS THE SAME THING! I have never had anything like this happen at Macy's or Dillards so that is where I will be shopping in the future!!! Word of mouth can kill a business!!
