Devious-pass the buck individuals! Left me stranded with no truck

I was called just hours before I was to pick up the U-Haul I had reserved two weeks ahead of time. I already had my house packed up, hired workers to load the truck, scheduled to meet my realtor in my new city all working under the assumption I had a U-Haul.
Called the regional office and they offered no solution to the problem and refered me to corporate headquarters since I booked online. All of their solutions were a great problem for me such as leaving my car in a town unattended 76.5 miles away from my old home and 150 miles away from my new home.
Corporate told me it was the regional offices fault and so on and so on.
This company had no problem leaving me and my family stranded and could have cared less! Do Not dare ask them to compensate for the expenses you will have out of pocket for their bad business practices.
According to the CEOs personal secretary that is not an option nor does she have the power to make such an offer.
The CEO of this company should have the nerve to call me and explain himself and his philosophy about stranding families during a time of need and what is a very stressful time in their lives.
It is a sad thing that such companies are allowed to do this to the American public!
