Ripoff

I have a charge on my credit report for AT&T and also for Providian Bank. I have contacted these people to discuss these two issues on my report and they refuse to give me any information in regard to these two accounts. It claims I opened the account for AT&T on 2002 and I had no such account. Also for the second account on Providian which they claim they bought from Providian according to my report. If they bought this claim why is doubled up on my credit report.
This Palisades company is ruining my credit and it is like they are doing it intentionally. If there is something someone can do to help me get these claims off my reports I will appreciate it. I have tried to get different phone numbers to try and fix this problem with them and have had no luck. I was starting to wonder if they really existed until i came across this complaint in regards to Palisades collections Inc. At that point it seemed to fit the no response I have been getting.
Please help me fix this problem.
