I used the payphone servies at Chicago Airport on 17th May to make a call to a mobile. I was running out of quartes so gave my credit card details to make that one minute call. They charged me $9.72 for that call.

My bill shows the following details as the company who charged my card. ZEROPLUSCALL* TEL8884519635 CA

I enquired this and the service person explained that there is a minimal charge for a call and a connection fee aswell which is the reason for the $9.72. But he assured that since I am using their services for the first time, he will be able to authorize a discount and it will be credited back to my account in a week time.

I just wanted to keep consumers aware of this kind of a problem while using payphones. That is the reason I am filing this report.
