Negligence False Advertising Horrible Business Practices

I put my valuables in storage in Jan. Of 2002 I checked it approximately August and got a few items.

Recently, I contacted them to tell them I was vacating and to pay my final bill. I thought everything was fine.

I went to the storage unit August to get a couple of breakables before I picked up everything in September.

When I arrived at my unit it had Storage USA's lock on it. I went down to the office and in their computer there was a note claiming they attempted to contact me in June about a small lock on my storage unit. I never received a call, letter, nor did they contact my alternate contact.

When my unit was opened I found out I had been robbed of my life practically. So, for 13 months OR more I had been stolen from and didn't even know it. When I called them recently to tell them I was moving out they didn't tell me.

When I confronted the manager about the note in the computer they claimed they were unsure it was a good number, it was.

The gentlemen their that assisted me that was working there heard that I verified the number and also can vouch for their lock being on my storage.

So, I had been stolen from. They said they attempted to notify about a small lock on my storage. When I show up their lock is on the storage and lo and behold 90% of my goods are gone.

Their contract is horrible, in fact I think it is an unlawful contract due to the nature that they are absolved of all responsibility, accountability, etc.

When you go to their website they purport to have state of the art security/safety and that your satisfaction is guaranteed. They also claim to do everything in their power to ensure the safety of your goods.

They also have 24 hour security, 30 day video tape retention on the cameras, and a locked coded gate. Yet with all this security some individiuals had more than ample time to rob me blind. My locked containers in side were forcibly broken into and my personal clothing from when I was in the military was strewn about in the dust.

I will not go into detail about all my other items.

I don't know how many violations of rights, morality or what not they have done to me or others but I would like people to voice their disdain so we can bring this to a higher authority.

Your voice can be heard if you choose to use it. I implore you.

No matter what injustice has been committed to you and by a strangling contract you have no rights. Think again, make your voice heard.
