Ad customer service-dissappointed

I shop at hollister in store very often but never returned any of them. For the first time i ordered online for $105 worth and called the customer service next day to cancel the order as the online status was still showing "in processing" but the rep was so mean and refused to cancel my order. When i questioned her about the status online she told that it is not yet shipped but was packed and she couldn't help. I don't understand what do they mean in their terms and conditions stating

"Prior to shipment of your order, you may cancel your order at any time by emailing us at Hollister_orderservice@HollisterCo.com or calling our Customer Service Department "

Very disappointed and will never shop at hollister and will return the whole package once it is delivered.
