We got scam by Roberta Katona of Grand river poodles which website is www.grandriverpoodles.com in Perry OH. We bought a light apricot toy poodle from her and we paid $1500.00 for limited registration. She sent us the dog last Friday with no papers and now wants us to pay her $500.00 extra if we want the papers.
She originally was selling the dog for $1300 with no papers and $1500 with limited. We paid her $1500 for limited and now she does not want to honor our agreement.
She says she is a breeder of merit from AKC. I have printed copies of her website add. She refuses to give me my papers. I already made a police report. All we want is for her to give us the limited papers that we paid for.
She sent me the puppy all dirty, with a dirty towel in her kennel with no food. Then when I confronted her she sent me an email saying that I am harassing her. I wonder how I'm harassing her? Just because I want my dog's papers which I paid for? AH and I forgot she told me that if I ever wanted to see papers for the dog I would have to give her $500.00 extra.
Please people beware of this woman and her business.
