Ripoff, fraudulent accounts allowed to be opened when person is deployed to another country

I was deployed with the Army to Bosnia around 1996 and Alltel allowed two accounts to be opened and used in my name, never requesting an id I guess, and not paid. The accounts were then closed and turned into collections and started destroying my credit. After the two years overseas, I come home to bad debts, and ruined credit.

I have given copies of my orders, awards and other paper work showing I was not in the country during these accounts. Alltel responds with I could have let someone else open them, and they can not provide me with a copy of the contract either.

When you call them to handle any matter you get the run around and given different phone numbers to call, unless you have money in hand to pay, then of course everyone in Alltel's corporation including the janitor is ready to assist you.

They refuse to take care of these matters
