What appalling customer service!

1: Firstly the Exactta representative at the Madrid airport whoencouraged me to start off with a balance of 50 Euros (US $67.50) rather than alesser amount, assured me that should I lose the card, I would be refunded thebalance remaining.

2: So I paid a total of Euros 76.70 (US $103): of thatamount I was informed that Euros 16.70 ($22.50) was for the Sim card andinitiating the service, and the rest (US $67.50) was prepaid balance for phonecalls @ Euro 0.45 per call. Yet your company stated that thebalance remaining when my phone was stolen a few days later. Was only US $51.90 and I hardly had used the phone (except for local incoming, which I had been informed was free) perhaps 6minutes altogether.- But since I no longer had my phone I could not check theamounts charged to me.
3: You were unable to arrange for a replacement Sim card to bedelivered to me at Fumicino airport prior to my flight though I was neveradvised of this.

3: Jonathan Carmona sent me an e-mail below thatincluded a (very cumbersome and un-user friendly) claim form, thereforeinferring that I would be refunded the balance upon claiming. At best a veryclumsy way of dealing with the issue. But I had no chance to fill out theclaim form as this was almost immediately followed (5 hourslater!) by the email from Exactta customer Service saying no refund would begiven. Not only appalling service and misleading statements butincompetence as well!

4: Exactta seems to switch between dollars and Euros at whim; (just paying the amount for the plastic sim card (15). And The cost of the Exactta SIM Cards is $15 $20 shipping two extracts from their e mails.) Is itwhichever is most to their advantage at the time? - if so, dishonestbehavior! If not, incompetence. 5: I conclude my only sensible options is to abandon my balance of $51.90, no matter how infuriating! Here is a simplecalculation:
Amount required to reactivate my balance of US $51.90: Iwould have to spend $15 for a new Sim card and $20 delivery for a totaladditional cost of $35. So my net recovery is $16.90! How absurdcan you get? And this $16.90 would only enable me to make local phonecalls in Europe for calls for a grand total of 27 minutes.

Here is what I have done: I have paid 0.99 Euros (yes 99Euro cents!) For 30 minutes of calls with Simyo in France ; and thatincluded free delivery of their Sim card to a friends address in France!
And I can make future calls for Euro 0.10 a minute.
