"dating service together development" closes: company fails to refund money from ripoffs

Together, Inc.in Irvine has taken $2000 to provide me with "dates". 3 weeks after taking payment they closed the office. 3 months later after NO contact somebody from their "home office" offers to set me up with some dates. I said I wanted my money back.

I have tried unsuccessfully to demand refund from the "corporate" office in Bozeman, Montana (a telephone voicemail and a PO Box.)

I'm married now, didn't need these slimey people as it turns out, but it makes me mad that they prey on people who are lonely. I know that others out there have been cheated as I did a newsgroup plea once, with a number of similar ripoffs.

The company claims that they are a franchise company, and bear no responsibility for the actions of the franchisees. BAD BUSINESS!!! WARN OTHERS TO STAY AWAY for their own good.
