Shaddock Development Corporation comes off as this big time quality development corporation when in fact they are nothing more than a developer that will do anything to make a buck.

When we built our house the neighborhood and the development was passed off as an upscale custom home neighborhood. Many residents paid in the upper 400k range for their homes.

Shaddock development was responsible for the types of builders in the neighborhood and the integrity of the homes going up. They allowed one builder to build the same home and exact elevation more than 15 times.

One of the builders went out of business and the other builder left because of a disagreement with Shaddock. Now Shaddock has reached a new low. They have sold the lots to two track builders.

I have been told by local relators that we can expect at least a 20% decrease in the value of our home as a result.

Warning if you are going to build in a Shaddock development. Do your research of the builders in the neighborhood and make sure they are financially solid.

Make sure you get in writing exactly what custom means, or you could end up like us trusting a developer that has no integrity.
