Rip-off! Dishonest! Fraudulent billing! Bad manners! Unresponsive

I was quoted by Thomas Franklin that the move would cost me $340-540. I asked TF if there were any hidden charges and he said just the amount of tape and $45 if they needed to wrap my 42 TV. 3 GVL movers came to my home. Some items they outright refused to move and told me to do it myself. He (head mover) told me it would cost me $50 to move the TV. They loaded/unloaded the truck 3 times at my expense. He totaled the pricing and said it would be $700, told me I HAD to pay them before they unloaded the truck and told me not to forget to give them a tip.

They charged me for two wardrobe boxes at $16.50 each; put some items in them, took them to the new house and took them all out, and took the boxes back. Other items they didn't put in the right spots didn't disassemble/reassemble things as noted in contract and the things they wrapped, they did not unwrapped once they got there, except for one corner stand.

After unloading the truck, He came to me with a sheet of paper, stood next to me, and told me to sign it and what comments to put on it. I did not get a chance to look at my property for any damage, and the way he talked to me, I was afraid to look. I did what he asked, under duress. Afterward, I found damaged items.

After they had left my house He came back and told me, You see that truck down there? He pointed it out and I said yes. He said, My driver hit it backing up. If anyone asks you didn't see anything. After he left again, I walked outside told my neighbor, called the police and found the owner of the car. After the police contacted them, they said they left a note, but none of us saw it.

Later that evening we had to load my SUV, my friend's truck and my other friend's car to take what the men left behind. I am a single mother of a 2-year-old. I was so stressed over this situation and afraid they would come back. I lost 2 more days of work and a week of sleep. The company said they were giving me back a very small amount of $200 out of the mover's pay. This scared me even more. They never sent a penny. They won't answer my emails, letters or calls.
