US Safety Inc. - 100% total scam

This company is a total scam. They are preying on those people who are in
desperate need of a job and taking advantage of them. Though they
advertise for management jobs they are actually sales positions.in
addition, they require you to pay a $75 fee for a background check which
is bogus and then pay a $99 fee for a "training kit" which is as well
totally bogus. The kit is nothing more than a thin binder with about a
dozen xerox sheets in it of poorly written training materials. There is
also a bottle of fire retardant and some strips of paper treated with
the retardant as demonstration props.

Lisa Bournazos, the President of the company, avoids being honest with
you that this is a sales position, she couches the whole pitch in terms
of it being a free in-home fire safety inspection, and it is upon this
"survey" that their whole sales model is based. Lisa will try to
convince you that you are not selling anything but rather giving a free
inspection and training class because the company cares so much about
the customer. The bottom line is that at some point you have to sell
their products (fire extinguishers, flame retardant, smoke detectors,
and escape ladders). It is totally about selling.

What they also don't tell you until the end of training is that you have
to sell $2,000 worth of merchandise before you can become a manager,
I'm sorry this is selling in its most pure form. And what is also
puzzling is how are they able to open so many offices in a relatively
small geographic area paying managers $4K - $6K per month selling fire
extinguishers and smoke detectors, just seems a bit far fetched
especially in this economy. Why not just go to OSH and purchase these
items individually rather than spending a couple hundred dollars buying
an entire package?

The other thing about this is that U.S. Safety has no lead generation
strategy except for those referrals that customers give you; how many
referrals are you really going to get from a single customer, especially
if they are not interested in the products. THey also expect you to tap
into friends and family to generate your first leads to selling their
products. This all seems very sketchy and very haphazard. They have
clearly haven't thought this through very well, very unprofessional.

In sum, these "management positions" are a total fabrication. The bottom
line is that these are sales positions, I don't care how you want to
color it. That $4K per month is coming from sales, that is assuming you
can even sell this stuff to the extent that they lead you to believe it
can be sold. Unless you want to go into sales I would look elsewhere for
a management position. I truly think that U.S. Safety and Lisa
Bournazos mislead people and couch their whole training into making
people think that they will make all this money selling fire
extinguishers, etc. And why are they pushing to open so many offices in
30 to 60 to 90 days what is the big rush. And if you ever see their
offices it makes you wonder how well they are truly doing financially,
they are total dumps and I never saw any desks or computers. Even their
receptionist's desk at their "headquarters" which is in a total dump had
no computer and sat at her desk as if she had nothing at all to do.
This company just wreaks of ghetto.

If you see this ad on Craig's List run, run run away as fast as you can.
