I contracted for a full-service move from Texas to South Carolina, including professional packing. What I received was anything but full service and professional packing. A list of my problems included:
Packers did not show up on time or complete packing on time. Packers were unskilled; little packing paper was used to protect valuables. Packers did not remove all items from home, requiring another packer to return to the home nearly two weeks after the initial load out. Many items were left off the inventory. Extensive damage to larger, unpacked property during transit due to incompetence of packers and driver. Driver did not arrive at scheduled time; late in the day and then insisted on unloading until midnight. Load weight was grossly underestimated despite using the exact same inventory that other professional estimators used who performed in-home estimates.
