Strikes again! They sold me a used phone as new. It still had the answering machine message from the previous owner. Rip-off!

I purchased a Uniden telephone yesterday. It was an open box special, but I specifically asked the clerk if the phone had been purchased previously. He said no, it was just a demonstrator / floor model.

After I got it home and charged up, I tried to program the answer machine. I was surprised to hear a message on there from a bed and breakfast!

There is a big difference in a floor model and a used product. If I wanted a used phone, I would have went to the flea market or tried Ebay and saved a lot more money. I am returning this phone, for sure.
