Pressured me into buying magazines i did not want

Shops, Products, Services

This company called me around 6 o'clock and they said that i was entered in a contest for using my credit card. Then he started talking really fast and then he was like you will get 4 magazines for the low price of 4.99 a week for 16 weeks. Then all of a sudden it was 60 weeks and it was not till after the supervisor got my card number that she told me it was going to 39.00 month for 33 months and i told her i did not want it that there was not way i could afford that.

She would not stop the transaction because she already had the number even though i said no like 5 times or more. She just kept saying if you thought it was going to be so much money why did you give me your card number. I wanted to kill her.

I think i found the right number but what they are telling me is that i have to wait 24-48 hours for it to be in the system before i can access the account and cancel the transaction.

I went to my bank the very next morning and reported the card lost they will not be able to get any more money from my account. I told the women at the bank that i thought this was a scam, she told me that if i do not receive any thing from these people that i can file a complaint so that i can get my money back.

So if this happens to you cancel your card that you charged it to and just keep trying to call them and if you don't get anything from them in the mail go to your bank and file a report with your bank.
