This company is a crook, they have had my money for more then 8 months and will not return my money

We at H.D. Had some fraudulent activity at the store that we where not able to catch and later found out that it was fraudulent. After providing all the information to merchant data systems (mds), we where told there is a three month hold for review. We patiently waited for the three months and called back, this is when we where told that we had to wait 6 more months just in case "we may get more chargebacks so we need to hold the money till mid December". After this when we called mds on the 21 of December we where told they still have to review and may hold the money for another ten months, also, during this conversation they try to tell us that what they owed was 4 times less of the amount they owed. We will like to know if there is any lawyer out there that can help us get our money back from these crooks. Henry, a manager at mds is the one who has kept our money and will not return our money.
